Smoke Alarm Installation

Service Description

Contact our station to schedule an appointment. At the scheduled time a certified firefighter will come to your house and install the appropriate amount of smoke detectors per number of rooms. This service is provided to the residents of the Columbus Fire District Only and is made possible through the North Carolina State Fire Marshal's Office. Alarms are not for distribution and must be installed by CFD staff. Recipients may receive up to 6 alarms in their residence depending on size of home and number of sleeping areas.
